WHAT PLATFORM IS THIS AVAILABLE ON?

Our new template is offered on the ChabadOne platform. It’s built as a standalone Template5 site, replacing your existing ChabadOne homepage and template skin.

WHY CHABADONE?

Usability, usability, usability. The ChabadOne platform is familiar to most if not all Shluchim, and their support is unparalleled. Their platform also offers conveniences most rely on like ease of creating forms and processing payments, adding photos etc.

WHAT ABOUT WORDPRESS?

Can we assume you’re fully familiar with WordPress and have the skills and know-how to update a WordPress site easily? If yes, let’s talk. We can’t promise the same price-point offered for ChabadOne setup but we can come up with a custom plan for you.

WHAT’S UNIQUE ABOUT THIS SITE?

Strategy. Complete focus on the User Experience (UX/UI). In other words: all the underlying details that make your site one which visitors enjoy navigating easily, avoiding a quick exit after 20 frustrating seconds. Oh, and it looks amazing too, capturing the personality and feeling of Friendship Circle.

Includes homepage and inside page template exactly as seen here, with basic customization of 7 areas. No customization on overall design and structure of the homepage – let’s keep this simple so we can give you a great deal. (NOTE: The links on top will automatically appear based on the content pages you create).

WILL MY SITE BE IDENTICAL TO OTHER FRIENDSHIP CIRCLES?

Well, yes. And no 🙂 Yes you’re purchasing a template which means that it’s not custom created uniquely for you. However, we know you have preferences too, that’s why we created 5 different color versions for you to choose from. If you still want it to look more unique, see our custom add on options below.

WHAT IF I NEED MORE THINGS CUSTOMIZED LIKE MY OWN PICTURES USED?

Sure, here are our add-on options:

CAN YOU SET UP ALL THE INSIDE PAGES TOO?

Yes, however that’s not included in the scope of this project. To avoid additional cost this is actually something you can do easily on your own.

Will my inside pages look as good as my homepage?

That’s up to you because you’ll be setting up the content on your inside pages. But to help you out, we’ve added default styles that you can use for section headings and content on forms and pages to make everything look as consistent as possible with the homepage. Just use the default formatting options available in the ChabadOne publishing backend.

How will my donate page look?

We know how important your donate page is, that’s why we’ve added special styling to the default donate page you’ll insert from ChabadOne’s form builder. See here. How do you like it? It’s yours at no additional cost. Still want more? We’ll be offering an advanced donate page as an add-on purchase later, stay tuned.

Will I need to contact you for every change?

Nope, your site is designed to be as customizable as possible without requiring any coding.
Every section on the homepage can be edited from the default ChabadOne Home Page tab: Events can be added to the slider, featured boxes can be changed and the mission statement edited.

To keep your site looking consistent the default formatting of all inside pages is fully styled. Just use the default formatting options available in the ChabadOne publishing backend.

We provide a beautiful inside page header but this can be overridden on each page – no coding needed. (follow these instructions).

ARE YOU SURE I’M GETTING A DEAL?

Absolutely. Considering the strategy involved, sites like this cost thousands of dollars to develop from scratch. You’re not paying for any of the strategy, UX/UI process, multiple wireframes and mockups until we reached perfection. That’s thousands of dollars in savings.

WHAT ABOUT MY RETURN ON THIS INVESTMENT

We know, this sounds like a significant investment to make. But let’s talk numbers a moment, shall we? How many visitors does your site receive weekly? Say that your homepage gets 50 hits a week. Of those 50 visitors, stats for outdated sites would suggest that a measly 10% ever make it past your homepage. And how many go on to donate? Not many if the homepage gives them a beeline for the big red X. What does a new site do for those numbers? It creates a welcoming, easy to navigate site, which will not only encourage visitors to stay, but make it easier to convert those visits into donations or another participating family. This upgrade is an investment that will pay for itself, and will go on to bolster your reputation as a sound and professional organization. Making sense now? We think it’s a no-brainer.

Actually no, the lifespan of a site is only 2-3 years. Considering that site was designed in 2014, it’s starting to look its age and you’ve gotten great use of it until now so don’t think twice about an upgrade.
