Position Open: Web Developer

Seeking a highly skilled Web Developer with excellent problem solving skills who is comfortable with both front and back end programming. Candidate must be proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery as well as PHP or Python. Understanding of key design principles required alongside keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:

Web Developers are responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.

• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Creating websites using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Troubleshooting and creating effective solutions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Proficiency with server side languages such as PHP or Python.
• Understanding of key design principles.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Understanding of SEO principles.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Keen attention to detail.

Good to have:

• Experience with ChabadOne
• Experience with WordPress and/or other CMSs and website platforms
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL.
• Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of build tools (working with Sass, Webpack/Grunt/Gulp, Git and versioning)
